House Huysamen
A reconstruction of a heritage grade 3C dwelling into a modern family home with combination of facing brick and light steel structure to the upper floor, clad in metal sheeting. This creates a fresh, modern house fit for 21st century living while keeping the memory of the past in the plan form. The house was split into two separate living units, with the smaller one being rented out as a granny flat.
